What kinds of texts do you want to receive?

Through the Community app, we can send texts to you based on what you are into! To be included in these interest lists, simply text the keyword for each list to Meg’s texting number. We will add you to each list. You can be part of as many lists as you want, and you can ask to be removed from a list at any time.

The keywords are in bold below. You can send all of the keywords in one text.

These are the interest lists we have created:

  • Behind the scenes - hear and see a little more about behind the scenes happenings for Sorta Awesome.

  • Books and reading - want to hear what books and reading-related things Meg and others on the team or in the community are into? This is the list for that.

  • Meal ideas - recipe links, meal ideas, what’s for dinner, and all things food and eating.

  • Memes and inspiration - funny or thought-provoking or fascinating memes and little doses of inspiration will go to this list

  • Pop culture - what are we watching and listening to? Pop culture recommendations from the team and the community.

  • Product recommendations - beauty, skin care, lifestyle, kids and teens … any kind of product that is making life more awesome, we’ll share with this list

  • SA Updates - want to know when a new episode drops in the main Sorta Awesome feed or for the Super Stars? Interested in other updates from Sorta Awesome Media? This is the list for that.

  • TikTok - Sending and getting TikToks is Meg’s love language. Want to get the ones she shares with her friends? Sign up here!

What Can you expect from Texting with meg and the team?

  • Except for the on-boarding texts sent by Community, all other text responses will be from a real person on the Sorta Awesome team. There are no bots or AI responses!

  • Unless otherwise stated, the responses will come from Meg. On days when another team member takes over texting for the day, you’ll receive a text at the start of the day letting you know who you’ll be hearing from. (For example, “Hi Super Stars! Lori Lynn on texts today!”)

  • Meg’s texting hours are roughly from 8 AM - 9 PM CST; she’ll mostly be responding to texts around the lunch hour, and she won’t be responding much on weekends. Don’t worry though - someone on the team will read every text! And you are welcome to text anytime, 24/7!

  • As a Super Star perk, you can reach out via text to Meg and the team anytime, not just in response to a text sent to you!

  • Because access to texting is a Super Star perk, should you need to end your Patreon membership, you will be unsubscribed from texting.

  • If you change your mind about getting texts from us, no worries! Just text “unsubscribe” and we’ll take care of removing you from our texts!
